Firstly, I used the CV Curve Tool to draw a shape of the vase out. I have no idea where to start at first therefore I followed the example with the bucket tutorial in one of the lab sessions. This exercise is very similar in creating a basic shape of the bucket.
After I've created the curve using the CV Curve Tool, I pressed enter to complete the curve. Next, I selected Surfaces under the Surface menu and clicked Revolve. I changed the settings from start sweep angle of 0 and end sweep angle of 360. This will then make the curve from a 2D curve, into a 3D model. I then applied a smooth to make the vase look more natural and realistic.
Reflection:
This is a very fun and interesting exercise, with a need for us to use a bit of our imagination. The CV Tool is easy to use. Since this method is similar to the one with the bucket, I had no trouble doing this. I smoothen the vase in the end to make it look nicer.
